From the jump, the goal was clear: connect player personalities directly to the storylines fans already cared about from previous LCS seasons. Not manufactured hype. Real narrative continuity.
The creative process was a true collaboration: concepts coming out of Boombox, layered with narrative heat from Riot’s internal team. The result was a piece that blended esports broadcast storytelling with stylized CGI jewelry and tattoo design, each element subtly nodding to key League of Legends storylines and rivalries.
One of the quiet wins: licensing the right music track. It was clutch. The tone clicked immediately and carried the energy we were all aiming for across the entire piece.
The response spoke for itself. The project resonated with the League of Legends community, earning more than 50,000 likes in under two days and reinforcing fan excitement heading into the NA LCS Spring Split. The creative execution helped Riot Games exceed KPIs tied to launch engagement, player recognition, and refreshed league momentum across broadcast and digital platforms.
